What is a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner? Certified Practicing Massage Therapist status is awarded upon completion of the following six courses. they maintain a low student-teacher ratio, so they can work hand-in-hand with their students to help them achieve their learning goals. No exam is required.

• Pass the NCBTMB Board Certification Exam
• Graduated from a school designated by NCBTMB or approved by the Portfolio Review Board.
• Meet the training requirements for renovation.
• Pass the national audit
• Checking a masseur's current state license
