A radio personality in New York, June Brody, gave birth go Michael in New York City, USA on March 20, 1970. His father’s name is David Rapaport. He was an executive officer in a radio “WKTU Disco 92.” He was also the general manager of the “All-Disco” format. 

Michael Rapaport grew up with his brother Eric Rapaport. Michael has a half-sister Claudia Lonow from his mother’s side. His mother divorced his father and married comedian Mark Lonow. Claudia is also a TV producer and an actor. Michael grew up in the Upper East Side neighbourhood in Manhattan. His ancestors have the background of Poland and Russia.
