Michelle Bolsonaro has been First Lady of Brazil, from 2019 to 2023, as the wife of President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro. She was previously a parliamentary secretary of the Chamber of Deputies.

She is the daughter of Maria das Graças Firmo Ferreira and Vicente de Paulo Reinaldo. She has two children, including a daughter with Jair.

Her husband Jair has said:

I have blue eyes and my wife is of African descent. My father-in-law lives in Ceilândia, he is known in his circle of friends as Paulo Negão. He is not black, it is a mixture of Portuguese, black, and indigenous.

Michelle’s paternal grandfather was named Damásio Reinaldo de Souza.

Michelle’s paternal grandmother was Tarcisa Gomes Batista (the daughter of José Gomes da Silva and Antônia Tôrres Batista). Antônia was the daughter of Honorato Martins Tôrres and Francisca Batista Albuquerque.
