Career
Mike Vitar began his career as an actor when he was 12 years old. He appeared in media in 1991 with his debut as Anthony Gambuzza on the TV series Brooklyn Bridge. During a similar year, he performed as Arturo in the movie Diplomatic Immunity’. Then he performed as a boy character in the film ‘Sunset Grill’ in 1993.
In that year, he emerged as Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez in the movie Sandlot. Mike gained the Young Award for Outstanding Youth Ensemble in a Motion picture. After that, he played Luis Mendoza in ‘D2”: The Mighty Ducks in 1996, and the third sequel D3: The Mighty Ducks’ portraying the same role.
