Michael Richard Weir, better known as Mike Weir, is a professional golfer from Canada. He became a professional golfer in 1992 and now competes on the PGA Tour. He is one of the few left-handed golfers in the world. He is most known for winning the Masters in 2003, making him the only Canadian to do so. In 2003, he climbed to World No. 3 for the first time in his career. Between 2001 and 2005, he remained in the top ten. He has eight PGA Tour victories as of 2020. He’s also won two European Tours. From 2001 to 2003, he received the Lionel Conacher Award three times.
