Jonathan Brian Weiner was born on 29th July 1972 in Long Island, New York, where he grew up. As a child, he always had a dream of one day becoming a sports talk radio host, a dream that came to its fruition. After his high school studies, he joined Clark University, where he graduated with a B.A in English/Communication in 1995.
He got into sports while in College, where he played in Pilgrim Lacrosse League, becoming a star in the game. By the time he was leaving college, he had broken the record for season goals and season points. To this day, he is ranked seventh in Clark School in most goals scored in a career
