Names of Pokemon Black/White Starters Revealed

GoNintendo discovered yesterday a treasure trove of info surrounding the latest entry into the Pokemon franchise, Black/White.  Perhaps the juiciest bit of info is the names of the starter Pokemon: the Grass-type Snivy, the Fire-type Tepig, and the Water-type Oshawott.  I guess those are okay names, but personally, they don’t hold a candle to the creativity and ingenuity of the original starters.

Other choice tidbits include a look at one of the legendary Pokemon, Zekrom, whose apparently a dirty, naughty “Deep Black” type, and the revelation that the game will take place in the new Unova region of the universe.

Have to hand it to Nintendo; right about when I feel like I’m growing out of Pokemon and getting sick of their formula, they release a few nuggets of info here and there that immediately sucks me back into the universe. Black/White comes out in spring of next year.
