In a statement on Thursday, NATO Defense Ministers called on the Hamas movement to release all captives immediately. The alliance also recognized Israel’s right to defend itself “with proportionality.”
The statement expressed solidarity with Israel and emphasized its right to defend itself against unjustifiable acts of terror. Additionally, NATO called for Hamas to release all hostages promptly and ensure the utmost protection of civilians.
