Andrews auditioned for drama school and was accepted to London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he studied alongside Ewan McGregor and David Thewlis. His hard work paid off when he was cast in Hanif Kureshi’s film London Kills Me (1991). Andrews appeared in the BBC miniseries Buddha of Suburbia, which aired in 1993.
