Noah Gray-Cabey was born on 16th November 1995, in Chicago, Illinois. Noah Gray-Cabey parents are Shawn Cabey and Whitney Gray. From his birth date, Noah Gray-Cabey's age is currently 23 years. His nationality is American with a mixed ethnicity of both European and African American. The American actor's parents raised him in Newry, Maine. In 2004, his family moved to California.

The fourth son of the family inherited more than just mixed ethnicity from his parents. At the age of four, Cabey decided to be a pianist. He began playing toy piano, and that marked his journey to fame. Noah joined Paraclete High School, a Roman Catholic college preparatory school in Lancaster, California. He later joined Harvard University in June 2011 where he completed his education.

Noah Gray began Action in Music, a project intended to help children in developing their musical talents, giving them opportunities to also perform in other countries. Money raised from the concerts is donated to orphanages and hospitals in those countries. Gray-Cabey became the youngest soloist to play with the orchestra at Queensland Conservatory, Sydney Opera House as well as the International Convention in Brisbane, at the age of five.
