Nonso Anozie is a British actor of Igbo Nigerian ancestry who has appeared on stage, in movies, and tv shows. He was the youngest performer to play the part of “King Lear” on theater professionally relatively early in his career. In some other play, Othello, in which he portrayed the main character, was well-received and won several significant honors. ‘Ender’s Game,’ ‘Zoo,’ ‘Cinderella,’ and “Game of Thrones” are among his most notable TV and film roles. Bio
Nonso was born in London, England, on November 17, 1978. His parents emigrated to the United Kingdom for education from Nigeria’s south-eastern Igbo region. He is the oldest of his parents’ three children, with two younger sisters. He aspired to be an actor since he was eight years old when his instructor chose him to improv a scene in a narrative, and he was ecstatic with the positive feedback he acquired.
He started attending the National Theatre when he was studying for his GCSEs and A levels. He applied to Central School of Speech and Drama but did not qualify the first time around. As a result, he took an alternative program for a year before enrolling at the Central School of Speech and Drama for his second try. He joined the Royal Shakespeare Company upon finishing his studies.
