Old Friends, Red Dead Redemption 2 Mission

1. Follow Dutch

Follow Dutch until you find the O'Driscolls' camp.

2. Get to the cliff edge

Go to the place where the Dutch is waiting for you.

Together with him you will be able to watch the enemy camp through binoculars.

3. Approach your horse / Grab the Rifle / Select a Sidearm

When you've finished watching the camp, go back to your horse, take the carbine repeater and choose a sidearm.

4. Follow Dutch / Take cover at the wall

Follow Dutch down to the camp where two other guys from your gang are waiting for you and take cover.

5. Take out O'Driscolls

You can take the lead or let Dutch do it.

There are several O'Driscolls in the camp. Some of them will come down the hill on the left, there is one on top of the water tower, another one is in the cabin ahead, and a few more are to the right. If you are going to get the gold medal in this mission, aim at the heads of your opponents, because you have to get 15 headshots in this mission.

6. Loot the dead enemies

After the fight is over, you must loot the corpses of defeated foes. After a while, the second wave of O'Driscolls will come up, attacking from the woods on the south side.

7. Take out O'Driscolls

Now you can test the Dead Eye ability. You have to eliminate several members of an enemy gang. Once you've killed enough of them, the rest of them will retreat.

Aim for your heads and collect more headshots to get the gold medal. At this point, you can also complete another gold medal requirement - Kill 3 O'Driscolls in the same Dead Eye use.

You can use tonic to restore Dead Eye.

8. Regroup with the gang

Go back to Dutch and the others who should be waiting for you in the middle of the camp. Dutch will tell you to search for the explosives and detonators.

9. Search the building

As Dutch suggests, search the building on the left.

In a large chest labeled Samson Bros Dynamite you will find what you are looking for.

Another member of your gang will find a robbery plans.

10. Follow Dutch back to camp

Follow Dutch and discuss your plans. Along the way, you'll run into another O'Driscolls member. Dutch will send you after him to capture him for interrogation.

11. Chase down and lasso the O'Driscoll

Close the distance with Kieran and throw your lasso. Lasso him and get off your horse, move towards him, and as soon as you are next to him, hogtie him up.

If you don't catch him quickly enough, the raided bandit will fall off the horse after some time, which should make it easier for you to do your job.

If you want to earn the gold medal, ride your horse in his direction as soon as you see him. Don't even wait for Dutch's order.

Hint: The quickest way to catch O'Driscoll is to shoot his horse. Of course, you must be careful not to kill the guy.

12. Stow the O'Driscoll / Get on your horse / Return to camp

Throw Kieran on the back of your horse, and ride back to your camp. The route back to the camp will be marked on the minimap.

13. Dismount your horse / Remove the O'Driscoll / Carry the O'Driscoll to the cabin

Get off your horse, pick up Kieran and drop him near the cabin at the waypoint.
