Oliver (Red) Lynn, 83, died Wednesday, July 22, in Paintsville Hospital.
He was born August 25, 1897,in Wellston OH, the son of Charles and Cora Kurtaindahl Lynn.
He was a resident of Van Lear and a retired miner.
Surviving are his wife, Angie Webb Lynn; five sons, Oliver (Mooney) Lynn, Jr. of Hurricane Mills,TN, Charles Lynn of Ft. Wayne,IN, John Lynn and Jack Lynn of Wabash,IN and James Lynn of Michigan city,IN; five daughters, Martha Weitzel of Lagrow,IN, Lois Blair of Van Lear, Joan McGinnis and Betty Bland of Wabash,IN and Mary O'Neal of Everett,WA;
38 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren.
Funeral services held Saturday, July 25, in Jones- Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Webb and Lowell Webb officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
