At APS, the on-peak hours are 3-8 p.m. weekdays. There are no weekend on-peak hours. Other utilities have different on-peak windows. These plans reward customers for shifting their big appliances to run on off-peak hours.

What are APS peak hours?

The higher-cost hours (called on-peak hours) are from 3-8 pm weekdays, other than 10 designated holidays throughout the year. Get lower rates at all other times (called off-peak hours): before 3pm and after 8pm weekdays, all day on weekends and all day on the 10 holidays.

What are on-peak hours?

In NSW, off-peak electricity rates are charged from 10pm to 7am. A shoulder rate applies from 7am until 2pm, and from 8pm until 10pm, with peak hours between 2pm and 8pm. Peak rates are only charged Monday to Friday.
