Oprah Winfrey has shared that she intends to continue working despite approaching her 70th birthday next month.

During an interview with People on December 14, she expressed her commitment to work for as long as possible, stating, ‘I will never be done until my last breath is done. And whenever that happens, it will be a peaceful breath.’

Additionally, the 69-year-old actress acknowledged using a weight loss drug and expressed her determination to maintain a positive outlook on life. ‘Gratitude really is my religion,’ she said. ‘It was a spiritual opening for me to see my life in a different way.’

She also mentioned the impact of her absence from television for 12 years, noting that there is a generation who only knows her through memes or stories relayed by their parents or grandparents. She added, ‘What I hear all the time is, “My mother loves you. My mother loves you.”‘ She expressed gratitude for this acknowledgment and emphasized the importance of embracing abundance over scarcity and maintaining a strong sense of self.

Reflecting on her spiritual growth, she remarked, ‘What I realize is that being able to stand solidly in the maturity of my own spiritual growth has been the thing that has brought me to this point.’
