As a result, he could never fit in properly in school. 

Braden also revealed that being of mixed ethnicity was difficult in the entertainment industry. When he auditioned for roles, he was deemed ethnically ambiguous. 

However, the actor also considered himself as “the best of both worlds.” Being of mixed ethnicity, he got to experience both cultures — he did not grow up just being German or Chinese, but a beautiful mixture of both.
