Bio and Early Life
American actor/comedian/screenwriter/producer Paul Stephen Rudd was born on 6th April 1969 in Passaic, New Jersey to Michael Rudd; a tour guide and former V.P. of Trans World Airlines and Gloria Irene Granville, a sales manager at KCMO-TV. He belongs to a Jewish family. As a child, Rudd was a fan of British comics “The Dandy” and The “Beano”. He, along with his family, moved to Lenexa when he was ten years old.
Education: School/College
Paul Rudd finished his Junior High from Broadmoor Junior High and high school from Shawnee Mission West High School. He also spent three years of his childhood in Anaheim, California. Paul majored theatre from the University of Kansas after which he joined the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
He was a classmate of Matthew Lillard there. Paul Rudd had also attended the British American Drama Academy for the study of Jacobean Drama. Before starting his career as an actor, he took up work as a D.J. and also a few odd jobs.
