It seems like Phasmophobia's ever-growing fanbase is always asking for new challenges and game modes to be added to the horror title, and Kinetic Games has happily provided in this new v.0.1.8.0 update which includes a new Weekly Challenge Mode. Through the Challenge Mode, players can try out a new challenge each week and earn a pretty hefty reward upon its completion.

What Is Phasmophobia's Weekly Challenge Mode

Phasmophobia's Weekly Challenge mode is a new feature introduced in the v.1.8.0 update that allows players to take part in a new challenge each week. There are 26 different challenges, with the challenges rotating on a weekly basis.

The challenges ask players to complete a task while their ghost-hunting experience is altered in some way; for example, a challenge might ask the player to find the ghost in a certain map without having any hiding spots.

Phasmophobia Weekly Challenge This Week

The weekly challenge in Phasmophobia this week is called "Frostbitten"

Here is the challenge: "It's so cold that it's slowing everyone down, including the ghost!"

In order to complete the challenge, players must correctly find the ghost type in Camp Woodwind, three separate times.

The reward for completing this week's challenge mode is $5000.
