Pokemon Go Kecleon Doesn't Appear on the Map

Trainers, as you already know, the long-awaited Pokemon Kecleon made its Pokemon Go debut, and just when we thought that there would be no problems and everyone would be able to find and catch Kecleon, Niantic and Pokemon Go officially stated that Kecleon sometimes doesn’t appear on the map after being knocked off the PokeStop.

Kecleon made its Pokemon Go debut, but it seems like some players have issues and are not able to find Kecleon. Currently, there are three issues regarding Kecleon: Kecleon doesn’t appear on the map after being knocked off the PokeStop, Kecleon is visible on PokeStops outside the Trainer’s radius, and Kecleon does not have gender on the Pokemon detail page.

Niantic and Pokemon Go are familiar with these issues, and they are working to fix them.

Pokemon Go Kecleon Issues

Kecleon sometimes doesn’t appear on the map after being knocked off the PokeStop

• Issue description: If you tap the X button while Kecleon is jumping off the stop, it may prevent it from appearing on the map.
• Status: Resolved in the next release (0.261). Tap on the PokeStop again and Kecleon will be there. Knock if off the PokeStop again and wait for the animation to complete before exiting to the map. From there, Kecleon will appear and you may tap it to enter the catch encounter.

Kecleon is visible on PokeStops outside the Trainer’s radius

• Issue description: Tapping on a PokeStop outside the Trainer’s radius may reveal a Kecleon on the stop.
• Status: Investigating. Trainers must travel to within the PokeStop’s radius to interact with both the PokeStop and Kecleon.

Kecleon does not have a gender

• Issue description: Kecleon does not have a gender on the Pokemon detail page.
• Status: Mitigated. Kecleon is temporarily unable to be transferred to Pokemon HOME.
