This is the first of the quests that will be available as soon as the game starts. It is actually a short tutorial introducing you to the game.
Once upon a time, there was a masked girl named Yaga, nauseatingly vague and dull. Guided by a mysterious Voice, she was looking for her lost sister, all alone in the woods.
Objectives of Preparation
1. Pick up your bow
Just walk up and pick up the bow that hangs from a branch a few steps in front of you.
Move ahead, after a while you will come across some Vodniks. As indicated on the screen, press the correct key / button to get rid of them. Take the crystals that drop out of them.
2. Gather wood and some feathers
You should not have the slightest problem with finding wood because there is quite a lot of it in the area.
Feathers lie somewhere on the ground.
3. Craft an arrow
Open the Quick Inventory and craft at least one arrow.
4. Find the Red Oak
Move forward towards the red oak tree that you should see in the distance.
When you get close to the tree then you will get another instructions, this time on how you can use the bow.
5. Shoot the targets on the Red Oak
Shoot down at least one of the targets located on the tree.
Then you will be able to declare which path you want to follow - the path of light or the path of darkness. Based on this choice, your starting morality will be determined. When you make your choice, this quest will end and the next one will begin.
After completing Preparation you will get or will be able to get Hunger.
