How do you copy and paste a group in Photoshop?

Select layer, layers or layer group in the Layers panel.

Press Ctrl/Cmd + C or go to Edit > Copy. You can switch to another open document. Press Ctrl/Cmd + V or go to Edit > Paste. Another paste option is Shift + Ctrl/Cmd + V which is available from Edit > Paste Special > Paste in Place menu.

How do you copy a folder in Photoshop?

Method 1 (by dragging)

  1. Click the Folders panel tab. Display the desired subfolder (expand any folders, if necessary).
  2. Select one or more thumbnails in the Content panel, then drag them over a folder name in the Folders panel to move them, or hold down Alt/Option and drag them over a folder name to copy them.
