Quick Answer: How to Make a Bed Against the Wall

Can you put a bed against the wall?

Feng shui — which considers spatial relationships in relation to the flow of life energy, or chi — usually would come out strongly in favor of pushing the bed up against the main wall of a bedroom. But it warns against doing so if there are bathroom drainage pipes or gas pipes running through the wall.

How do you build a bed against a wall?

For instance, use two small plant stands as night tables (and even place a candle or two on each), or create two neat stacks of books on each side of the bed. If there really isn’t room to have equal space on both sides of the bed, another option is to hang a mirror on the wall the bed is against.
