What is the difference between a stove and a range?

Do you call it a range, stove or oven?

If you have a baking chamber without external burners, you should call it an oven. If you have a stove without an oven, you should call it a hob (or hob). And if you have them both in the same appliance, you should call it a stove, although it can certainly be called a stove.
