Reverse: 1999 - Charlie Build and Strategy

Charlie is a reliable 5-star DPS who can carry your team in the early and late game modes. Her ultimate damages all enemies while dispelling certain buffs or statuses. Charlie Gameplay Strategy

Afflatus: Star

Damage Type: Mental

Charlie's Ultimate (I Stand Alone on the Stage) deals Mental DMG to all enemies while also dispelling the following statuses from all enemies: Stats Up, Pos Status, and Counter. Try to use her ultimate when there are enemies that have these buffs applied; otherwise, you can just use this ultimate whenever available just for the raw damage dealt to enemies.

Both of her incantations deal damage to single targets; Thunder to Thee! deals bonus mental DMG if Charlie has the Stats Up or Pos Status effects applied on her. Her other attack, Tempest to Thee! deals additional mental DMG if Charlie's HP is below 50%. Since both the base damage and bonus damage of these attacks scale up with the incantations' star levels, leveling them up before casting is a good strategy.

Charlie Recommended Psychubes

• Hopscotch: This psychube's passive boosts Incantation Might. The amplification skill applies a stackable Ultimate Might boost with the activation condition that the wearer lands the finishing blow to the enemies. You can trigger this psychube's condition with Charlie, since her entire kit allows her to deal damage.
• Brave New World: This psychube boosts Ultimate Might (DMG of ultimates) as its passive while the amplification effect can boost the damage of Charlie's next incantation.
• Tomorrow Also: This psychube's passive boosts Crit DMG while its amplification effect increases the Crit Rate whenever the wearer uses an ultimate.
• His Bounden Duty: This psychube provides DMG bonus as its passive but similar to Hopscotch, the amplification skill gets activated only if the wearer lands the finishing blow. However, instead of DMG boost, the wearer will get Charlie's HP healed instead.
• Thunderous Applause: The passive boosts Crit Rate; for its amplification, it boosts Crit DMG whenever the wearer's 1-target attack deals a critical hit. Both of Charlie's incantations are single-target attacks so she'll take advantage of this psychube's effect.
• Blasphemer of Night: This psychube increases the wearer's Incantation Might. If the targets has two or more negative status (debuffs), the wearer will deal increased damage. This psychube will be quite usable when you have a debuffer in Charlie's team.
• Footloose: This psychube also boosts Ultimate Might (DMG of ultimates) as its passive. The amplification skill allows the wearer to deal bonus DMG to targets above 50% HP; this situational limitation lowers its reliability.

These 4-star psychubes are good placeholders until you get access to one of the 5-star and 6-star psychubes mentioned above. 4-star psychubes don't have the option to be amplified (improve their amplification effects) by using copies of the same psychube as fodder.
