Before Fame

It was all about his comedy skit before the rap game started. His usual social media platform includes but is not limited only to YouTube and Vines. His video uploads on YouTube and short clips on Vine always go viral. Although most of his comedy includes dark humor, his fans still love him for making it undeniably funny.

Rap Career

Rich Chigga’s rap career started in 2015 after he had released his debut track on his YouTube account. His debut track, “Living the Dream” was produced by DJ Smokey. It was loved by his YouTube subscribers. A few months after this, he then released his debut album “Dat $tick” on February 22, 2016. His debut album caught fire in the music industry and it made him known to some of the well-known rappers. The reaction video released featuring other American rappers such as Ghostface, Killah, 21 Savage, Tory Lanez, and others contributed to the surging popularity of his album. He continued to create rap songs and released two singles, “Who That Be” and “Seventeen”, on 2016. He even released a remix version of his single “Dat $tick” which featured Ghostface and Pouya. His uploaded singles immediately reached 1 million hits on YouTube and Soundcloud.

On 2017, Chigga started his well-deserved U.S. tour. After his tour on May, he then released another single entitled “Gospel” featuring XXXTentacion and Keith Ape. The first collaboration between Chigga and XXXTentacion was a success after it reached over 35 million views on YouTube.
