Eric Barrett Winter is an American citizen, born on July 17th, 1976, in La Mirada, California. He was born to his father, Wayne Winter, and his mother, Gwen Winter. After his birth, Eric Winter's family relocated to La Puente, California.

He has a half-brother Robert W. Winter, who is about 14 years older than him. However, not much information is available on public domains regarding him. Eric’s cousin is the singer and choreographer Anney Tesloyn Gomez.
