Her mother’s name is Lydia, a singer. Her mother delivered Rosie to “Greenpoint Hospital” in Brooklyn. But the birth of Rosie didn’t seem to be the time of celebration and reason for happiness.

Rosie’s parents were not married. They were in an extramarital affair. And she was a gift of romance. Rosie’s maternal aunt was taking care of her until the age of three. But after that, her mother put her in foster care. It might not have been the wish of her mother primarily, but she might have no other options left.
