RRR is a 2022 Indian period action film written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film is set in the 1920s during the British Raj and follows the story of two revolutionaries, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, who fought against the British Raj and their exploitative policies towards the Indian people. N. T. Rama Rao Jr. played the role of Komaram Bheem while Ram Charan played the role of Alluri Sitarama Raju. The two men are depicted fighting for the freedom of their respective regions from British rule. The story begins with administrator Scott Buxton and his wife Catherine visiting a forest in Adilabad, where they abduct a young girl named Malli from the Gond tribe. Komaram Bheem, the guardian of the tribe, decides to bring back the young girl and embarks on his journey to Delhi by disguising himself as a Muslim man named Akhtar. Meanwhile, A. Rama Raju, an ambitious officer in the Indian Imperial Police, is tasked with quelling the threat of the revolutionary movement. Bheem and Raju later encounter each other and, unaware of each other's identities the duo unites to save a boy from a train wreck. They subsequently grew closer to each other and Raju helps Bheem in his mission to rescue Malli from Scott's captivity. Bheen infiltrates an event to honour Scott and tries to rescue Malli. But Raju stops him by saying that the general is planning to kill Malli. In the aftermath, Raju is promoted but Bheem is detained and punished. Raju is overfilled with guilt and then tries to save Bheem and eventually reveals his true anti-colonial sentiments to his fiancee named Sita, played by Alia Bhatt. Sita shared this information with Bheem who goes ahead to save Raju and ends up together once again. Together with Jenny, Scott's niece, Bheem and Raju take on Scott's army and ultimately succeed in their mission to overthrow the British Raj. After the missions, Raju asks Bheem to make a wish, to which Bheem asks him to educate his tribe.
