Sandra is a German pop singer. She was a member of all-female disco trio Arabesque, and provided vocals for musical project Enigma, the latter founded by her former husband, musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer Michael Crețu. She is also known as Sandra Cretu.

She is the daughter of Karin (Eltern), who was German, and worked in a shore store, and Robert Lauer, who was French, and owned a wine store in Saarbrücken. Sandra has two children with Michael Crețu. The two collaborated on many of her songs.
