Sebastian Stan Jokes That Avengers Co-Star Gwyneth Paltrow Still Doesn’t Know Him:
Because first impressions are key, Sebastian Stan has had the opportunity to meet Gwyneth Paltrow three times.
The Avengers: Endgame cast has worked together in at least three films, but that doesn’t imply they’re friends. In reality, the actor who portrays Bucky Barnes claims to have met the famed Pepper Potts actress at least three times.
Sebastian was certainly not surprised when he ran into Gwyneth at the Valentino Couture Show in Paris and the Goop founder didn’t know him. “Also delighted I got to reintroduce myself to @gwynethpaltrow for the third time,” he joked on Instagram. We’re both in the same movie.
Sebastian shouldn’t take this personally, because this isn’t the first time Gwyneth has forgotten about her co-stars or the films she’s appeared in.
The 46-year-old reportedly forgot that she had a small role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, a Marvel picture. “Remember we were in Spider-Man?” she was asked during a funny visit on Jon Favreau’s Netflix show, The Chef Show.
Gwyneth said, “We weren’t in Spider-Man.” She told Jon after some back and forth that she had been in Avengers but never a Spider-Man film.
“Remember, Spider-Man at the end, and Tom Holland is there, and you’re going to step out and hold a news conference?” Jon finally asked.
She recalled, “Oh yes.” “Was that Spider-Man?” “Oh my God!” says the speaker.
In a later interview with PopSugar, Tom Holland mentioned this, saying that the fact that she doesn’t remember “still hurts my heart to this day.” He did, however, appear in a snapshot of Gwyneth and Robert Downey Jr. on Gwyneth’s Instagram account, where she adoringly referred to him as “that other man.” Awwwww!
