Cassandra Dawn’s ethnicity is on our minds as fans want to know more about the new Selling Sunset newbie. She joined the cast with a little bit of sass and drama. And Selling Sunset’s Cassandra, of Asian ethnicity, has ‘finally’ brought the representation that Netflix fans are craving. But she hasn’t joined the Oppenheim Group.

Remember that popular show on Bravo, Vanderpump Rules? Well, Cassandra on Selling Sunset was actually on that series many years ago. She’s bringing even more “beautiful” looks to season 7 of the long-running Netflix reality show, which are enhanced by her family roots.

Cassandra Dawn’s ethnicity

Cassandra Dawn on Selling Sunset’s ethnicity is of Asian and East Indian descent. She was raised in Manhattan Beach, California, and Netflix fans are applauding her Asian representation.

One fan said: “Finally an Asian. Why? Because many real estate buyers in LA are Asian. It’s the least the show can do. I think you can sell some serious real estate!”

The former Playboy Bunny has a twin called Jackie Dawn, who she grew up alongside. Both Cassandra and Jackie lived with a certain Vanderpump Rules star, and it was Cassandra who “hooked up” with them!

Selling Sunset star was on another series

Cassandra Dawn on Selling Sunset was actually on Bravo series Vanderpump Rules season 1. She starred on the series in 2013, in the third episode of the Bravo series’ inaugural outing, called You Don’t Know Jax.

Nicknamed Casey, she modelled in the same photo shoot as cast members Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute. Cassandra and Kristen figured out they had a Tom Sandoval connection in common!

The Sur bartender was Cassandra’s old roommate, and at the time, he was Kristen’s live-in boyfriend. Cassandra admitted she had slept with Tom, but said they were both “babies” at the time, referencing to them being young adults.
