Should a Looper Pedal Go in the Effects Loop?

Loopers aren't effects—they're recorders. Normally, you'll want the looper to be able to record and playback any of your sounds. Of course, this means you should place it at the very end of the chain so it can hear and record whatever pedal combinations you use. So there it is.

Does Looper go in effects loop?

A looper pedal records your guitar as you play a riff or chord sequence and plays it back to you over in a loop. You can then add to this loop by 'overdubbing'; playing a second part over the top which will be recorded and added to the loop next time it circles round.

Do you need an effects loop for Looper pedal?

Re: Question - Looper pedal with amp without effects loop

Yes, it works ok. Not the same as through an amp with fx loop, but it'll suffice. AND you will learn a lot on how the guitar can sound just by turning a knob.
