If you're an overclocker, FurMark is an ideal tool to find a stable overclock so that your system won't crash or overheat while using demanding programs or games.

Is FurMark any good?

As with any stress testing software, it's as safe as the person using it. If temperatures stay within tolerance, they're perfectly fine for testing the stability and integrity of your hardware. If you experience crashes, then it is indicating faulty hardware or unstable overclocks.

How long should I leave FurMark running?

You won't need to run FurMark for long. If your graphics card is going to crash or start tossing out funky visual artifacts, it will do so within 15 to 30 minutes.
