Richard Lamar Hawk, also known as Silento or Prince Silento, is a well-known American rapper and singer. When he was in eighth grade, he became interested in music. Prior to his celebrity, he used to perform at birthday parties, school functions, and other neighborhood gatherings in order to gain more exposure. In 2015, he released his debut single, Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae). After a year, he returned in 2016 with a new single, “Get Em.” Silento made his television debut on the renowned talk show “Good Morning America” on June 25, 2015. After various delays, he finally released “Fresh Outta High School” in August 2018. On November 29, 2018, he released Fresh Outta High School Part 2. Silento was arrested by the DeKalb County Police Department in Georgia on February 1, 2020, for the murder of his relative Frederick Rooks.
