Eliza rose to recognition as a member of the renowned Philadelphia rock group The Wars on Drugs. One of the best American bands promoting rock music is this one. Since the beginning, Eliza has been an active participant and essential component of the group. The Wars on Drugs entered the music business in 2005 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and currently has 8 members that are actively performing.
Along with Eliza, she has other bandmates, Adam Granduciel(vocals, guitar), David Hartley (bass guitar), Jon Natchez (saxophone, keyboards), Robbie Bennett (keyboards), Anthony LaMarca(guitar), and Charlie Hall (drums). The group was founded by Adam Granduciel and his close friend Kurt Vile in 2005 but came to the mainstream music market in 2008.
After the group’s establishment, they released their first debut studio album, Wagonwheel Blues, which helped them gain many supporters and listeners. However, Kurt left the group shortly after to focus more on his solo career.
Later the band released its third album, Lost In The Dreams in 2014. The album was a significant breakthrough for the group as it received widespread critical acclamation and increased exposure after its release. Charlie Hall, who was just a collaborator, also joined the leading drummer of the band during the recording process.
