Slim Jesus

Easton Phillips widely known as Slim Jesus is a controversial American rap artist. He was born on 10th April 1997 and became instantly famous in 2015, after releasing his first song called Drill Time that was quite successful. However, he released a few songs but none of them were as successful as his first song. He continued to work hard and win fans all over.

Before fame

Slim Jesus was born in raised in the state of Ohio in city of Hamilton. He developed interest in rap music when he was twelve years old. After creating a channel on YouTube he began to upload his own rap music videos. However, he didn’t earn much fans until he released his first official track. His fans have often wondered how he got involved in music at quite a young age. This is because he was living with a single mother and felt the need to start earning from an early age.

Music career

When Slim Jesus first started his career, his friends called him Swag Jesus but it was changed before becoming famous in 2015. His first song called Drill Time captured 100k views in a very short while. This kind of rap music is called Drill Rap and quite popular among young generation because of its controversial nature of lyrics.

As well as he tried to promote new style of music, public response was always negative. His following two songs Buck Buck and Drum Roll were not well received by public. In the same year i.e. 2015, he performed in his first Live Concert in USA and Canada. In his second year of music career, his most notable tracks include: IGAF, Free Smoke, and Facts. He also collaborated with other famous artist in 2016 to gain more followers. Year, 2017 brought him more success as he produced remixes of already famous songs. He also managed to release two hit songs in same year; Warning Shots and Major League.
