Starfield Skills
Character Skills in Starfield allow you to strengthen your character throughout the game giving you new abilities and improving existing ones.
You will receive the first three Starting Skills when creating your character by selecting Character Background. You will earn the next Skills as you play Starfield.
There are a total of 82 different Skills in the Starfield world, divided into five categories: Physical (16 Physical Skills), Social (16 Social Skills), Combat (17 Combat Skills), Science (16 Science Skills), Tech (17 Tech Skills).
Each of the Skills has up to 4 Ranks that strengthen the Skill's power or add new abilities. You will gain subsequent Ranks mainly when using a given Skill in the game.
