Sumo Digital, formed in 2003, is a development studio based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire (UK). Many developers at the company have already been working together as part of Infogrames Studios Sheffield and Gremlin Interactive. The company was acquired by Foundation 9 Entertainment on 20th August 2007, but the company was spun off from Foundation 9 Entertainment on 11th November 2014, making the company independent once again.
