Tears of the Kingdom - Misko's Treasure Guide

You'll find a lot of armor sets through Tears Of The Kingdom. Getting full sets will be both a hassle and tons of fun, as the various sections can be rewarding for completely unrelated open-world activities. In fact, there's a wandering NPC who can steer you in the direction of pieces for 3 different armors if you are lucky enough to come across her.

Get ready for a series of challenges, and follow the trail of a legendary bandit through 3 separate caves.

Where To Find Meeshy

If you're walking the roads of Hyrule and spot a traveler in a green dress with mushroom patterns, flag her down, as that's Meeshy. Her outfit isn't uncommon, as it's a fashionable trend from Hateno Village, but this should still help you spot her from the crowd. She's a fashion fanatic, to the point that she's tracked down the old rumors of a bandit named Misko (who also had references in Breath Of The Wild) and his outfits that are stashed away as treasure. She loves the idea of seeing them but knows she's not the adventurous type to survive the challenge, so she'll share the locations on your Purah Pad map for you to track down instead.

It should be noted that all of these armors can be found without ever meeting Meeshy. This is not technically a quest as it does not show up in your quest log, only as Xs on your map. That said, the Xs help a lot as they are exact placements for the caves you'll have to go to.

How To Get The "Fairly Wild" Outfit

Meeshy knows the exact location of the armor sets, a description of the ability they possess, and adjectives for how they look, but not their proper names. So your first treasure is a "Fairly Wild" outfit she's heard fills the wearer with power.

The X icon will match up with Crenel Hills Cave at coordinates 0498, 0731, 0041. This is a small cave with a bunch of ore deposits and shallow water in the middle. But there's a massive danger in the middle of the water.

The Stone Talus boss monster is an almost unfair fight for early-game players. The trick is to destroy the ore deposit on its head, and a good strategy is to shoot an arrow at the deposit to get the Talus to flinch; then, you can climb up the Talus and swing at the deposit for as long as you can. This Talus isn't holding the armor, but you'll want to defeat it before attempting to grab it.

Turn the Talus to rubble and then look for a glowing wall of ore around the ceiling. Take your bow and fuse a Bomb Flower to an arrow to destroy this wall.

Now, you have your first of Misko's Treasures, the Barbarian Armor chest piece.
