Terry J. Dubrow was born on September 14, 1958, in Los Angeles, California to Laura and Alvin Dubrow. He had an older brother, Kevin Dubrow, who was the lead singer for Quiet Riot until his death in 2007. Terry attended medical school at UCLA and graduated in 1986, also earning a master’s degree from Yale. He completed a residency in general surgery and was chief resident at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and later completed his fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the UCLA Medical Center.
In the 1990s, Terry met actress and Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Paige Dubrow on a blind date. They got married in 1999 and have four children: twins Nicholas and Maximillia, as well as daughters Katarina and Collette. The family lives in Newport Beach.
