“The Birth of Our Twins Was a Shaking Moment for Me and My Wife, Chioma” Davido Shares in a Video

The talented Afrobeat singer, Davido, also known as David Adeleke, has opened up about the birth of his twins for the first time.

As news has already spread, the singer and his wife, Chioma, have welcomed twins, a baby boy, and a baby girl.

Although the couple hasn’t officially confirmed the news, Davido hinted at Chioma becoming the “Mama Ibeji” (mother of twins) in his song “In The Garden,” featuring Morravey.

Just this past Sunday, the singer tweeted that this week would be the best week of his life.

Adding fuel to the rumors, Davido’s brother, Adewale Adeleke, expressed his gratitude to God on Twitter.

Now, the news has been confirmed through a video that surfaced online, showing Davido and Chioma leaving the hospital with their twins.

Davido took to his Instagram page to share a post about the enormity of his God, following the loss of his son, Ifeanyi, last year.

During a recent event, the music star spoke about how he and Chioma discovered the news, which left them in shock.

He described it as an incredible coincidence that his twins were born in the same month that his late son, Ifeanyi, was born.

“When me and my wife found out, we were shaking. And it’s the same month. My son passed away last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October. It’s crazy,” Davido shared.

Celebrities from various industries have been congratulating the couple on the birth of their twins. Iyabo Ojo, Junior Pope, Daddy Freeze, Victoria Inyama, and Susan Peters are among those who have shared in their joy.

Iyabo Ojo offered a heartfelt prayer for the new parents.

Susan Peters acknowledged how God gave them double blessings in exchange for their pain. She referred to them as the “Papa and Mama Ejima” and rejoiced with them.

Junior Pope recognized the greatness of God and attributed all glory to Him.

Victoria Inyama, overwhelmed with happiness, mentioned that the couple has endured immense hardships, including the trauma of losing a child and facing hateful slanders.

The veteran actress expressed her concerns about their mental, emotional, and psychological well-being but believes that greatness often comes with tremendous trials.
