The Hawks Stun the Bucks in Game 1 of the Eastern Finals

The Atlanta Hawks faced off the Milwaukee Bucks for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals on Wednesday night.

The battle between two top teams of the East ended with the Hawks winning Game 1 over the Bucks.

The Hawks stunned the Bucks, defeating them 116-113 and taking a 1-0 series lead.

Trae Young dropped a historic performance for the win and received help from John Collins along with Clint Capela’s game-winner.

On the other hand, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday combined effort kept the Hawks on their toes throughout the game.

Game 1 showed A-level performance and effort from both sides making the series very thrilling and interesting.

The Bucks started strong, taking the lead in the first half but the Hawks made a return in the third quarter and won the game.

The Bucks started hot as Brook Lopez dropped the first bucket of the game from behind the arc.

Trae Young quickly answered back with a floater and Capela dropped a dunk on Young’s pass and the Hawks took the lead.

But the Bucks took the lead right back. They subsequently showed great teamwork, passing the ball around before Lopez dropped a dunk on Giannis’s pass.

Young came up with a putback on his own miss, cutting the lead to one point again.

Giannis drew a foul, dropping a bucket on the other side, and also dropped a dunk on Jrue Holiday’s pass.

Kevin Huerter came up with a jump shot and the Hawks again took the lead.

Going back and forth, they were 14-13 halfway into the first quarter.

Giannis came up with a dunk and Collins made a hopping move for the bucket.

Bobby Portis knocked down a dunk Holiday’s pass and the Bucks were ahead  26-22.

Subsequently, Holiday drove to the rim, knocking down a one-handed dunk that hyped the bench.

Lou Williams then added a three-pointer on the other side.

The quarter ended 28-25 with the Bucks in the lead.

The Bucks took the lead again in the second quarter.

Giannis started the quarter with a reverse layup and the Bucks ahead 34-28 two minutes into the quarter.

Huerter turned around and dropped a jumper.

Subsequently, Antetokounmpo found Khris Middleton for a dunk on the other side.

They were 38-31 as Giannis dropped a floater with 7:56 remaining in the quarter.

Young answered back with a floater on the other side and dropped a three-pointer on the next possession.

He added another three-pointer leading to an 8-2 run all by himself, cutting the lead to four-point about halfway into the quarter.

Capela added a dunk on Young’s pass and the Hawks were within two points.

Subsequently, Middleton made a fadeaway jumper on the other side.

Huerter knocked down a three-pointer and the Hawks took a point lead. PJ Tucker added a layup next.

The Bucks took a five-point lead as Holiday knocked down a three-pointer.

Young quickly answered back with a long two-pointer and Holiday knocked down a three-pointer on the other side.

Danilo Gallinari came up with a three-pointer and Holiday answered with a floater.

The quarter ended 59-54 with the Bucks five-point ahead.
