He is a mountaineer and former Hells Angel. He has helped to bring injured soldiers, Marines, and veterans to the top of some of the world's highest peaks. Tim has climbed Mt. Everest twice and used to build custom Harley Davidsons in Hollywood, California. He nearly died in a motorcycle accident in 2001 which was the inspiration behind The Heroes Project. Medvetz has also been married to singer and actress Cher. Medvetz has also hosted the Nat Geo WILD reality TV series Going Wild in 2014.
