Tom Cruise was born on 1962 July 3rd, in Syracuse of New York, America. He has 4 siblings: Marian Mapother, Cass Mapother and Lee Ann Mapother. He was the son of special education teacher Marry Lee and electrical engineer Thomas Cruise Mapother III. 

The Mapother family was not that successful, and he was beaten when he was a kid. So, Tom had a difficult childhood. However, his parents broke up when he was a small kid, and they returned to the US with his mother and sisters.

Previously, he went to the Franciscan seminary on a church scholarship, and he had the thought of being a Catholic Priest.
