Araksya Karapetyan is an Armenian-born American journalist and a television presenter. She currently appears as a co-anchor on the morning television news and entertainment program Good Day LA alongside Tony McEwing on FOX 11 Los Angeles.

Araksya Karapetyan of age 38 was born on 27 August 1982 in Gyumri, Armenia. She was raised by Armenian parents along with a younger sister, who is a lawyer by profession. She moved to the United States from Gyumri with her family when she was seven years old and grew up in Palos Verdes Estates.
Karapetyan is Armenian-American by ethnicity and she is proud of her family roots. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors recognized her for her dedicated work within the Armenian American community in April 2019.
