Tuff Hedeman is a previous bull rider for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys. He is a three-time victor of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s “Bull Riding World Championship” and the 1995 “Proficient Bull Riders World Championship.”

Bio & Early life

Richard Neale Hedeman got birthed in El Paso, Texas, on March 2, 1963. His zodiac sign is Pisces. Tuff became his trademark as his career grew. He started riding in high school and competed in squad roping, steer wrestling, bull riding, and bronc riding with the legendary Sul Ross NIRA Championship Team in 1982. From 1983 through 1998, Hedeman worked as a professional bull rider. He qualified for the NFR for 11 years and won the NFR Average in 1987 and 1989.

He was also the World Champion Bull Rider in 1986, 1989, and 1991. In conjunction to winning titles, Hedeman co-founded the Professional Bull Riders. From 1992 until 2004, he also served as the organization’s president.

Between 2005 and 2011, he was the head of the Championship Bull Riding Association. Apart from it, he is recognized for his relationship with Lane Frost, who just died away. They were the subject of the film 8 Seconds, which was released in 1994.
