Valorant Patch 8.0 PBE is all set to release on January 5 at 4 PM PDT and will feature some of the content coming to the next update, along with a bunch of bug fixes and optimizations. In addition to this, we can also expect to get some agent or weapon balance changes, and if you want to try all of the content before it arrives on global servers, you will have to apply for Valorant PBE.
Here is how you can apply for Valorant 8.0 PBE, along with details about its duration and eligibility.
Valorant Patch 8.0 PBE Eligibility Requirements
To sign up for Valorant 8.0 PBE, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Have a live Valorant account with no bans or restrictions
- Be in North America and play consistently from there
Meeting these requirements does not guarantee that you will be accepted into the PBE, as it is restricted to a limited number of players. Also, joining the PBE does not create a separate Valorant account for you, and you will be using your current one to log in to the PBE client.
Another thing to keep in mind is that if you get banned on the PBE, you will also be banned on the live servers, and vice versa.
How To Sign Up For Valorant Patch 8.0 PBE
You can sign up for Valorant patch 8.0 PBE by following the steps below.
- Go to the official Valorant PBE sign-up page.
- Scroll down and click on the “Apply Here” button and log into your Riot Games account.
- Hit the “Download” button to get the PBE client and verify your date of birth.
- After that, install the client and sign in with your Valorant account.
After signing up, if you are accepted into the PBE, you will receive an email with more instructions on what to do next. Otherwise, you can try again later, as Riot may recruit more players in future PBE builds.
However, keep in mind that the 8.0 PBE will be available only till January 8 as per the schedule mentioned on the official Valorant PBE subreddit, so make sure to play as much as you can during this limited time period.
