“Victoria Inyama Gets Emotional as She Returns to Nollywood: “Life Showed Up, I Gave It All Up”

Excitement fills the hearts of fans and lovers of Nollywood actress Victoria Inyama as she makes her long-awaited comeback to the industry.

The veteran actress, who had stepped away from acting to pursue a new purpose, took to her Instagram page to announce her return to the screen.

In a heartfelt post, Victoria revealed that she had to give up everything – both acting and films – when life took a toll on her. She discovered her second purpose, which is to help others heal, drawing from her own experiences.

Despite leaving the industry, she still identified as an actress. Now, she has decided to give it another try with her upcoming movie, Golden Stripes Films.

“Life showed up… I gave it all up… Acting… Films… Through life experiences, I found my second purpose… Helping others heal… Because I lived through trauma, psychology… I was still called an actress. The wife and mother took to her Instagram page to share the news of her comeback and expressed her readiness to dive back into the industry.

She urged scriptwriters, producers, and directors to send her scripts, noting that there is a time and season for everything.

Having left the industry after getting married to her husband, Kayode Oduoye, a politician and son of the late Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Simeon Oduoye, Mosun had to conform to a certain lifestyle expected of a politician’s wife, which did not include acting. Unfortunately, her husband lost at the polls, and Mosun decided to focus on her beauty business and family.
