Vincent Jamal Staples, professional famous as Vince Staples, is an American actor, singer, songwriter, and rapper. He gained fame after becoming a prominent member of the famous hip hop trio called ‘Cutthroat Boyz’. The other two members of the group are Joey Fatts and Aston Matthews. He has signed a contract with Blacksmith Records and Motown Records. The rapper has also been a close associate of the American hip hop collective known as ‘Odd Future’. Originally, staples is from North Long Beach, California, United States.

He started his musical journey in 2008. Although he had to face critical times in the beginning, yet he remained confident and affirmed. Vince has worked with many music artists and labels. He signed deals with A.G., Def Jam Recordings, ARTium Records, Motown, and Blacksmith records. Who are Vince Staples’s Parents?

Vince opened his eyes on Jul 2, 1993, in Compton, California, United States. After spending a few years in her hometown, he alongside her mother moved to North Long Beach. The reason behind their migration was the increased crime rate in Compton and surrounding areas. Mother of the talented rapper didn’t want her little one to grow in a wicked environment. She always dreamt for the nice upbringing of her beloved son. Vince is very close to his beloved parents. He is the youngest of five children of his parents.

He went to Optimal Christian Academy and studied there from 4th to 8th grade. He enjoyed studying there and considered it an influential experience. He also attended high school in Atlanta and studied there for six months. One of his sisters lived in Atlanta with whom he spent time. He attended different schools throughout his educational life including, Kennedy High School, Jordan High School, and Mayfair High School.

Dijon Samo and Chuck Win discovered the hidden rap talent of Staples. He went to attend a trip to LA with LaVish. During this journey, he became friends with Earl Sweatshirt, Mike G, and Syd Tha Kyd. He made guest appearances on songs created by these music artists. After working for a while in the music industry, finally, he came up with his debut studio album ‘Summertime 06’. It was a double album launched through Blacksmith Records, ARTium Recordings, and Def Jam Recordings. He received critical acclaim for all the songs included in his debut album.

On Aug 26, 2016, he rolled out his extended play with the title ‘Prima Donna’. It was released via Def Jam Recordings and ARTium Recordings. It included some of the most exciting guest appearances from ASAP Rocky and Kilo Kish. It was a pleasurable experience for the American rapper. On Jun 23, 2017, Staples released his 2nd studio album titled ‘Big Fish Theory’ via Def Jam Recordings and Blacksmith Records. On Nov 2, 2018, Vince surfaced with his 3rd studio collection of songs titled ‘FM!’. All of his musical efforts came up with flying colors.
