1. Luo Gospel artist Florence Roberts dies after short illness

Beloved Luo gospel music artiste Florence Roberts sadly died. According to reports, Roberts died in the hospital after a short illness.

Roberts is famously known for worship hits such as Kik Ikala, which touched many people. The songstress was hailed for her ability to sing and make people worship God in a beautiful way.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Roberts' sister in Christ from Barikiwa Music Centre, confirmed the development via phone.

TUKO.co.ke was also privy to a video that showed the body of the musician lying in the hospital with grieving relatives surrounding it.

It was also confirmed by Wuod Fibi, the founder of the Centre.

"A general has rested.This one is so sad. Rest well, my sister Florence Robert; your songs will forever be a blessing to many generations to come," he said on his Fcaebook page.

2. Micheal Oyier's daughter moves mourners with glowing tribute

The late Michael Oyier's daughter, Abigael, moved mourners after she said Michael was her best friend since day one.

Abigael, who was speaking at the former KTN news anchor's requiem mass, remembered how her dad used to take her to meetings and errands.

She said that at first, she didn't understand what impact it would have on her, and that she wouldn't be where she was in its absence.

"He would take me to his bible study every Monday. I never knew that time would impact my journey with God as it has. I remember the multiple car rides I would have with dad to school, home, Homabay and the deep talks about life and little jokes that would last from point A to B," she said.

Abigail was also happy that her dad finally married his wife and got the life he always wanted, as well as help taking care of the kids.
